I (Jolanda Todt) am exhibiting my book:
"home - a house and its inhabitants"

This book is about 46 people who all live together in one house in Darmstadt, Germany. It turns the inside of a house outward. Within one month I tried to get to know as many inhabitants as possible by ringing their bells. First I was mostly interested in what they dream of. Then I wanted to know what their goals were, how they would like to live, what they really love to do, what they are proud of, what they like to remember, what they think is beautiful, what they like about themselves, what is comforting to them, who they need, where they belong, and how they are related to their neighbourhood.
On 851 pages you will find a rich conglomeration of stories, more or less strangers to each other but still happening in one book and in one house.
